JMichael has devised a Medical Qigong treatment protocol that is based on the Shaolin technique of “Open the door, remove the thief.” This protocol dissipates the emotional charge around toxic emotions so that a natural flow of energy is restored and optimal physical and emotional health is reestablished. He incorporates techniques from the Hendricks Institute, Medical Qigong protocols, and Shaolin techniques taught by Master Robert Peng. This protocol has proven effective with over 350 patients and seminar participants and used successfully more than 3,100 times. Psychological Basis for the Treatment The technique for dissipating the emotional charge around a trauma can be done over the phone, but JMichael prefers a face to face session when dealing with severe trauma. Scope of adjunctive therapy for pathological diseases To schedule a treatment or obtain more information, email JMichael at jmichaelwood@comcast.net or phone him at 615 366 8940. The cost for a treatment is $100. Click here for directions to JMichael's Nashville clinic.

After the first treatment with JMichael, I felt 10 years younger. The amount of stress in my body that was relieved was remarkable. The exercises (breathing and Qigong) he gave me to complete after the treatment helped me keep the stress-related symptoms from recurring. The Song Kong Tong exercise is a life-changing tool for clearing emotional baggage.— S.C.

Medical Qigong background information
The three pillars of Medical Qigong are posture, breath and intention, which JMichael will use in a treatment session. The mechanics of proper breathwork are taught first, creating ease and flow of breath to provide maximum oxygen to the organs, calm the nervous system and create a healing state of mind. Mental imagery is used to override previous unbalanced breathing techniques and habituate proper breath and posture. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Five Yin organs, or five major solid organs, hold a group of toxic emotions brought on by emotional and physical trauma. The Heart holds anxiety, shock, unforgiveness, and the long term memory of emotional trauma. The spleen holds worry, obsession and self worth issues. The lungs hold grief, sorrow, shame, guilt and despair. The kidneys hold fear and loneliness. The liver holds anger, rage, jealousy and depression. The dissipation of the energetic charge around these emotions allows the re-emergence of the human being’s original Spirit (Yuan Shen), and removes the hindrances to spiritual attributes held in each of these organs--from the heart, peace order, forgiveness and love; from the spleen trust, openness and resolution; from the lungs, integrity, righteousness and courage; from the kidneys, wisdom, will power and the ability to root Divine Will to human will; and from the liver, compassion and benevolence. |
