Medical Qigong Practitioner Certification "Teaching the skills to live peacefully in a chaotic world" JMichael New Practitioner Level Certification (MQP) Series May 3, 2012 Continuing Education Hours AVAILABLE LOCATION: 500 Castlegate Drive, Nashville , TN 37217 View Larger Map TIME: 6:15 to 8:30 P.M. TUITION: 16-week block - $400, cash or check. DEPOSIT: Class size is limited. $100.00 deposit required. There are four 16 weeks blocks that comprise Medical Qigong Practitioner certification. To receive certification, clinic and extra clinic hours are required plus satisfactory completion of oral, written and practical exams. This first course is designed to introduce the student to Medical Qigong exercises to maintain health, heal their bodies, calm their minds, and reconnect with their spirit. The second course is designed to strengthen the body's protective energy field (Wei Qi) and discuss the techniques used to avoid absorbing Toxic Qi while in a clinical environment. The students will also learn basic Medical Qigong treatment protocols for treating clients. The third course is designed to introduce students to advanced theories of energy purgation, tonification, regulation and cultivation, as well as exercises and meditations used as homework prescriptions in the Medical Qigong Clinic. In the fourth course the Medical Qigong students will be introduced to advanced theories and clinical modalities of internal organ treatment. All four courses will run sequentially. Each course is a prerequsite for the next. TEXTS: Students are to purchase the four text books during the entire Practitioner training, but only books 1 and 4 are required for the first section.
