Medical Qigong Therapist (MQT) Certification

Pre-requsite - MQP1, MQP2, MQP3 and MQP4

The Therapist Level courses are taught in 5 one-day weekend blocks. Classes are in session at this time.

About the Certification Program

Medical Qigong Therapist (MQT)

This is a 500 hour Medical Qigong Therapist (MQT) certification program. This program will include oral and practical examinations plus clinical competencies. Successful completion of the examinations will enable the student to also qualify for the more advanced 1000-hour Master of Medical Qigong (MMQ) program.

Prerequisite for certification in the Medical Qigong Therapist program is the successful completion of the requirements for Medical Qigong Practitioner (MQP).

In addition, 50 hours of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory and 100 hours of Western Anatomy and Physiology are required for Therapist Certification.

A Clinical Internship is also required for certification but separate from classwork.

There are five text books required for the entire block of classes and they can be purchased on the website www.qigongmedicine.com. They are the same books required for the Practitioner level except Volume 5: An Energetic Approach to Onocology.
